Replacement aftermarket cylinder head complete with new valves and springs assembled converted to run on unleaded petrol.
This is a new replacement cylinder head manufactured in India that is supplied from the factory in a condition not suitable for unleaded fuel. These heads are fully rectified, fitted with exhaust valve seat inserts for unleaded petrol, cut with three angled seat cutter both inlet and exhaust seats.
Fitted with phosphor bronze valve guide liners and assembled with new valves (triple collet 90/110) springs, stem seals and vacuum tested. The ports behind the valve area are tidied up to give a reasonable flow and efficiency. See before and after pictures in the cylinder head information page.
The castings are of a decent quality manufactured in India but the machining is of not a particularly high standard. This product is offered in a fully rectified condition ready for fitting to your engine.
Fits all 2.25 3MB petrol engines and early 5MB engines to engine number 361236721B and 36407285B - imperial thread format - No choke warning light facility
New original cylinder heads are now obsolete. Core units for remanufacture are also in short supply.
